About the Role

As the Founding Full Stack Engineer at EchoPM, you won’t just write code—you’ll build the foundation of the entire platform. You’ll take ownership of our technical roadmap and work closely with the founder to shape our product architecture, engineering culture, and early dev processes.

Our stack includes Next.js, TypeScript, React Native, Prisma, and PostgreSQL. You'll work on everything from user-facing dashboards to backend services powering rent collection, maintenance workflows, and financial verification (Stripe, Plaid, Pandadoc integrations).

You’ll be expected to wear multiple hats—shipping new features quickly, addressing bugs and performance issues, advising on infra decisions, and eventually mentoring additional engineers as the team grows.

This role is perfect for someone who’s done zero-to-one builds before, wants deep product ownership, and thrives in fast-moving, founder-led environments. Your contributions will directly impact how thousands of property managers and renters experience our product—and you'll own meaningful equity in a high-growth vertical SaaS company.

Responsibilities

Design and develop full-stack features using React/Next.js and Node.js
Integrate 3rd-party APIs including Stripe, Plaid, Pandadoc
Own deployment workflows and CI/CD practices
Contribute to system architecture and technical roadmap
Fix bugs, optimize performance, and scale infrastructure
Document decisions and mentor future team members

Requirements

5+ years of full-stack experience (JavaScript/TypeScript)
Deep knowledge of React, Node.js, and relational databases
Experience with API integrations (e.g., Stripe, OAuth)
Ability to take products from idea to launch quickly
Strong product intuition and user empathy

Nice to Have

Experience with Prisma, Next.js App Router, and React Native
Startup or founder experience
Proptech or fintech domain exposure
