Is renter screening required?

No. Applicants can apply without screening. You order Starter, Essential, or Complete when you want reports on the application. They complete consent; you still decide.

Who pays for screening?

You choose per property—applicant, your organization, or either. List prices are $25, $35, and $45 plus a small EchoPM fee. County or court fees may apply at checkout.

Can roommates apply together?

Yes. Co-applicants join one household application so documents and status stay together through approval and signing.

What does my team see day to day?

A single applications queue: who applied, what’s missing, and where each file stands—without digging through email.

What happens after we approve someone?

Create a lease from the approved application, merge your terms library, send for in-app or provider signature, activate, and start rent and resident portal access on the same platform.

Do renters see our internal notes?

No. Renters see clear status in their account. Screening notes and internal detail stay on the manager side.

When does rent collection start?

After the lease is active, residents can pay in the portal and your team sees payments in EchoPM.

Can we start with just new vacancies?

Many teams do. Run new listings on EchoPM first and expand as you’re ready—we’ll help with onboarding.
