Owners see their buildings and payouts

Invite owners to a read-only portal. They get assigned properties, earnings, and statements—not your applications, financials, or billing.

The problem

Owners want the story—not your entire dashboard

Property owners need assigned buildings, distributions, and statements—not every application, lease edit, and organization bill in your portfolio.

Why EchoPM

A scoped portal, not a shared login

Invite owners to a read-only view of their properties, earnings, and statements. Your team keeps the Owners page, payout settings, and the rest of the dashboard.

Typical stack

PDFs, shared logins, or nothing

  • Monthly statements assembled by hand and emailed as PDFs
  • A shared manager login that shows too much—or nothing useful
  • No clean way to limit which buildings they see
  • “Where’s my payout?” with no self-serve answer

On EchoPM

Read-only owner portal

  • Same sign-in, reduced sidebar, view only
  • Earnings, payouts, and statements in one hub
  • Properties scoped to what you assign
  • You set ownership % and how management fees are treated

What you get back

Fewer statement emails. Nothing shared by accident.

  • Time

    Fewer “where’s my statement” threads

Owners open earnings and assigned buildings themselves. You are not rebuilding a packet every month from scratch.

  • Effort

    Invite once, keep control

Link properties, set ownership, and choose fee treatment on the Owners page. They never see applications or org billing.

  • Trust

    Visibility without your internal tools

Owners get a dedicated portal for their buildings—not a forwarded dashboard screenshot.

Two experiences

You invite. They see earnings.

Managers

Owners page

Invite people, link properties, set ownership, and choose whether fees come out of payouts or invoices. They never see organization billing.

Owners

Earnings

Assigned properties, leases, and maintenance—view only. Payouts and statement exports live in Earnings, not Financials.

Rollout

From invite to first payout

  1. 01

    Invite owner

Add them under Users with the property owner role.

  2. 02

    Link properties

Connect owner–property rows with ownership % and fee settings on Owners.

  3. 03

    Enable org payouts

Finish organization payout setup so distributions can run.

  4. 04

    Owner payout account

Owner completes verification from the Earnings → Account tab.

  5. 05

    Rent → payout

When rent clears, distributions respect billing mode (deduct vs invoice).

Why a separate view

Clarity for owners. Control for your team.

Same URL, different role

Owners sign in to the manager app. Their role hides applications, financials, the owners roster, and organization billing.

Rent still funds the payout

When rent clears, distributions follow the fee mode you set. Owners complete payout account setup from Earnings—you do not share internal tools to get them paid.

FAQ

Common questions

Straight answers about how this works on EchoPM.

No—they sign in to the same EchoPM manager URL. Their role controls what appears in the sidebar and which data loads.
